Application

These cables are designed for use in power distribution systems, suitable for fixed installations in industrial, commercial, and residential settings, where a four-core, unarmoured cable with PVC insulation is required.

Technical Data

  • 1.1 kV (A.C) & 1.5 kV (D.C) to Earth

Cable Construction

  • Conductor: Aluminium up to 10 mm² conductors are solid (Class 1) as per IS 8130; above 10 mm² are stranded compacted shaped (Class 2). Copper 4 & 6 mm² conductors are solid (Class 1) or stranded (Class 2); 10 mm² is stranded round (Class 2); above 10 mm² are stranded compacted shaped (Class 2) as per IS 8130.
  • Insulation: PVC Type A as per IS 5831 (Option: HR PVC Type C as per IS 5831).
  • Core Color: Red, yellow, blue, black.
  • Inner Sheath: PVC or PVC tape as per IS 1554 Part 1.
  • Outer Sheath: PVC Type ST-1 as per IS 5831 (Options: PVC Type ST-2, FR Type, FRLS Type).
  • Cable Color: Black (Options: Any other color as per requirement).

Cable Design Parameters

While ordering, please specify the following details: Conductor Type (Aluminium or Copper), Class of Conductor (Class 1 or 2), Insulation Type (PVC Type A or C), Sheath Type (PVC Type ST-1, ST-2, FR, or FRLS).
