A2XFY/2XFY, A2XWY/2XWY-4 Core Cable

Application

These four-core, armoured cables are designed for power distribution in industrial, commercial, and residential settings, offering enhanced mechanical protection through galvanised steel strip (A2XFY/2XFY) or wire (A2XWY/2XWY) armouring and superior thermal performance due to XLPE insulation, suitable for direct burial or exposed installations.

Standard

  • IS 7098 Part 1

Technical Data

  • 1.1 kV (A.C) & 1.5 kV (D.C) to Earth

Cable Construction

Four-core AL/CU conductor, XLPE insulated, galvanised steel strip/wire armoured cables as per IS 7098 Part 1.

  • Conductor: Aluminium up to 10 mm² conductors are solid (Class 1) as per IS 8130; above 10 mm² are stranded compacted shaped (Class 2). Copper 4 & 6 mm² conductors are solid (Class 1) or stranded (Class 2); 10 mm² are stranded round (Class 2); above 10 mm² are stranded compacted shaped (Class 2) as per IS 8130.
  • Insulation: Crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE).
  • Core Color: Red, yellow, blue, black.
  • Inner Sheath: PVC or PVC tape as per IS 7098 Part 1.
  • Armouring: Single armouring with galvanised steel strip or wire.
  • Outer Sheath: PVC Type ST-2 as per IS 5831 (Options: FR Type, FRLS Type).
  • Cable Color: Black (Options: Any other color as per requirement).
