High Tension Power Cable 1 Core

Application

High voltage power transmission cable with aluminium or copper conductor, suitable for industrial plants, utility networks, and power distribution systems. Ideal for fixed installations in ground, ducts, or air, where mechanical protection is provided by non-magnetic aluminium armouring and high thermal stability is ensured by XLPE insulation. Supports voltage grades from 3.3 kV to 33 kV for earthed and unearthed systems.

Cable Construction

  • Conductor: Stranded compact circular aluminium or copper, Class 2 per IS 8130.
  • Conductor Screening: Extruded semiconducting compound.
  • Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
  • Insulation Screening: Extruded semiconducting compound followed by helically wrapped copper tape.
  • Inner Sheath: Extruded PVC Type ST-2 per IS 5831 (Options: FR, FR-LSH).
  • Armouring: Single layer of non-magnetic aluminium round wire or flat strip.
  • Outer Sheath: Extruded PVC Type ST-2 per IS 5831 (Options: FR, FR-LSH).
